Kostas Manolkidis

He was born in 1994 in Athens and began studying the classical guitar with Letta Vassileiou in 2002 who taught him in a very young age that music is history, emotions, moments, but first of all it is a way of understanding and making peace with life.
While in college he stopped working on the instrument for a few years but after his entrance to the university he decided to aim at finishing his studies in music.

In 2014 he obtained a Degree on Classical Guitar under the guidance of Vangelis Simintzis and a Degree on Classical Music Harmony with Nikos Panagiotakis, while studying Statistics at the same time at the Athens University of Economics and Business.
He took part in several masterclasses and contests throughout Greece and met with a lot of people that played a significant part in upgrading his aesthetical criterion.
In 2018 he obtained a Diploma on Classical Guitar with Angelos Botsis being his teacher and a Degree on Renaissance and Baroque Counterpoint with Nikos Panagiotakis.

He has attended masterclasses with [partial list]: Dejan Ivanovic, Vladimir Gorbach, Duo Melis, Craig Ogden, Zoran Dukic, Hubert Kappel, Leo Brouwer and taken part in contests in which he has been awarded with [part. list]:
