With extraordinary skill on both their instruments – voice and classical guitar – the Duo Marschall-Haimel performs “Liedgesang” throughout the epochs, languages and musical styles. Their repertoire includes amongst others: early music from Dowland, the classical romantic songs from Schubert to Mendelssohn, to Schumann, French composer Fauré, spanish Songs by De Falla, Villa-Lobos or Rodrigo, up to Britten and contemporary music. With all the versatile range in languages and singing styles the soprano EvaMaria brings with her, and Christian’s technical virtuosity and feeling for accompaniment, they manage to create a special atmosphere in every concert for these gems that the “Lied” repertoire offers
